I’ve got a card I made using a Forever Friends decoupage image that I printed from the retro collection cd by Docrafts.

I’ve followed the sketch over at Mojo Monday, so I’m entering this into their challenge. I’m also entering this card into the Allsorts Challenge which is ” birthday celebrations ” as it is their 3rd birthday. Charisma Cardz is ” no flowers allowed. Crafty Catz is ” card for a man” hope this counts. Creative Card Crew is “Dimension”. One Stop Craft challenge is “one for the boys” and Totally Papercrafts is “Animals”.

All the elements were printed from the cd except the sentiment.

The card base was made from a piece of A3 card. I cheated a bit with the images as they are toppers from Lili of the Valley which are already coloured.

The number 2 was made using a Wendy Stenton number template, which I’ve drawn round onto green card and cut out and then I’ve layered this onto black card and cut it out again with a border ( not very straight LOL but I’m sure he won’t mind. Maybe I should have got my cricut out). I’ve also added some peel offs around the edges. This is held up with two button stoppers.

Dylan’s name has been cut with a sissix alphabet and again layered on to black and cut round. Maybe I should have cut out the center of the d but I would probably made a mess of it so decided to leave it ( Chicken). The D & N also hold up the square sections.

Well going to enjoy this glorious weather we’re at the moment, lets hope it lasts the rest of the week and through the weekend.

I used my octagonal nesties  to create this card, laying it on the fold of the card and drawing round the shape, then moving the die along I repeated this step again and then again to get three panels ( hope this makes sense). Then I cut round all the pencil lines to create the shaped base card. Then I die cut three octagons using the same die, as the dies cut out slightly smaller they nested quite nicely onto the front. The scalloped patterned octagons were also cut with nesties.

The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set of stamps, which I stamped and cut out with a smaller die and then I inked it whilst it was still in the die.

The flower was cut out of patterned paper with the blossom 3 spellbinders die and I’ve added a few punched leaves. It’s finished off with three bows which holds the card up.

I’ve got a wedding card for you today, the theme was ivory, gold and butterflies.

For this card I’ve used a heartfelt creations die called layered scalloped posy, which has been cut at the top of the ivory panel. Then I’ve embossed the bottom half with an m-bosslits folder by spellbinders called elegance. The ribbon across the middle I brought back from America, it has stitching along both edges, so I pulled on the stitched thread and ruched up the ribbon and added a pearl heart to the middle. This was then backed with gold mirri card and a few pearls added to the flowers in the die cut.

The butterflies have been die cut with a die from little claires, but I’m not sure if it’s still available, and I’ve added a couple of pearls to the center.

The sentiment was done on the computer and then die cut and layered using spellbinders plain ovals and floral ovals and again a few more pearls to finish it off.

I’ve a bottle card for you today….

…this was made using the Arty Farty bottle template. The shoes were stamped and the “40″ was die cut using a sissix alphabet, which has then been layered onto some punched circles. The circle on the bottle neck is a button from my stash.

Here’s the 3rd project I made, it’s a book card.

This was made using the bookatrix board by the glitter girls. I’ve done 3 layers, edged with glittery peel offs.

The sentiments are computer generated, cut out and layered with spellbinders plain and scalloped ovals.

I also added some ribbon bows and a couple of ready-made embellishments to finish it off.

Back as promised with the 3d pram.

I’ve used a serendipity pram template by Hasselcastle creations to make the pram. The hood, pram cover and front of the bag have  been embossed with an m-bosslits folder by spellbinders. The centre decoration on the wheels and little floral piece on the handle have been cut with the persian motifs and accents sets by spellbinders. The scalloped border around the hood has been punched with the scalloped trim border punch by Stampin Up and the satin pleated ribbon on the cover is also from Stampin Up. The scrolls on the side were punched with an EK success punch.

Here’s a better look at the pram bag, this pattern is in the accessories pack which is an add on the the pram template. This pack has the templates for the bag, the cover, a canopy, a parasol and spoked wheels.

I love making these but they are very time consuming but a wonderful keepsake, don’t you think?

I have some baby projects to show you over the next few days.

This card was quite a quick one to make.

The card base and layers have been cut with a Cherry Lynn die called mini pearl french flair mega doily. The biggest shape I’ve folded in half to make the base. The little teddy in the weighing scale is by Lili of the Valley and it’s a bit of a cheat as this was one of their topper sheets but I do have the rubber stamp version too.. I’ve added some stickles glitter glue and a bow and how quick is that.

Also I didn’t have much time as I needed to make 3 projects in 2 days and one of them was a 3d pram in a box which I’ll be back to show you tomorrow.

Here’s a couple more cards that I made for the same Golden Wedding as yesterdays post. I found it quite challenging making 3 cards for the same couple

This one is a book card made with the book of tricks board by the glitter girls. The base is white hammered card then it has an acetate page. These have been edged with gold peel offs. The floral 50 design is decoupaged and mounted onto spellbinders plain and scalloped nesties, as is the computer generated words. I’ve added a ribbon book mark to finish it off and it also had a box but sorry I don’t have a picture of this.

I’ve made this card using the bottle template by Arty Farty. The champagne glasses have been stamped with a versamark pad, embossed using gold glitter powder, coloured with promarkers and then cut out.I’ve added a pearl and mounted them onto the bottle with 3d sitcky fixers. The “50″ was die cut with a sissix alphabet. The borders have been punched with a Martha Stewart deep edge punch. I’ve added a double bow and a few more pearls and hey presto.
