Monthly Archives: December 2009

Hi there.

Hope your having a good time, whether you’re still on holiday and visiting the sales or back at work argh!!! If you’ve got a party to go to or something else organised for tomorrow night have a great time and get the alka seltzer ready.I’ve just got a quite evening planned with the family.

Well onto this weeks challenge at Anyone For Anya, it’s the last challenge for 2009 and it’s a sketch to follow, sponsored by Renata. I’ve used this stamp from “me time anya” available at Stampeezee, I think it’s time to relax and pamper yourself before the New Year celebrations.

Card Recipe

  • Me time Anya from Stampeezee( image and sentiment and lily).
  • Coloured with promarkers.
  • Round inverted and classic scalloped nesties, plain round nesties.
  • DP 6×6 Papercraft 4 you, collection 5.
  • Punches Martha Stewart border, SU scalloped and plain oval, McGill pine branch.
  • Roses 25mm from Wild orchid crafts.

I really love these roses I received them this morning along with some other flowers, I think I’m going to be ordering a lot more LOL. Also talking about Stampeezee, Debbie has a sale on in the shop at the moment, so if your in the Coventry area why not pop in and take a look, maybe you’ll pick up a bargain or two.

Here’s a close up of Anya, you can see the glitter I’ve added to the bubbles and maybe if you look closely the diamond glaze I’ve added to the bath to give it an enamelled look.

Wishing you a happy and creative 2010!!!!!

Hi there!! Hope you’ve had a great Christmas, I know I have. Mum & Dad came to stay, they arrived Christmas eve and went home today, so not much time for crafting but I’ve found some time this afternoon to do this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge, the sketch is by Claudia, which I’ve rotated to fit my image better. There is also a blog hop going on over at Friday Sketchers  in conjunction with the challenge. I ‘ve finally used a Hangler Stangler stamp that Debbie bought me for my birthday back at the beginning of December. I also got  another Hangler stamp from Marlene, hopefully show you that one soon. What a lucky girl  am I to own some Hangler stamps, they’re soooooooo cute.

Card Recipe

  • Image Hangler Stangler.
  • Coloured with a combination of copics & promarkers.
  • DP K & Co 8.5 x 8.5 Tulip pad by Tim Coffey.
  • Punches EK Success border, Mc Gill pine branch, SU ovals.
  • Sentiment from SU sincere salutations set.
  • Flower, spacer, brad & gems from the stash.

Here’s a close up of that gorgeous hangler stamp.

I’ve just realised that it’s craft day on QVC and I’ve just seen some patch work pals, I wonder how long I can resist for LOL.

Be back soon.

Good morning!!!!

The challenge over at Friday Sketchers this week is a fab sketch to follow by Aud in Norway.I’ve used one of the stamps in the Miss Anya Love set available at Stampeezee, I just love her curly hair.

Card Recipe

  • Image Miss Anya Love.
  • Coloured with copics.
  • DP Basic Grey 6×6 wisteria (I think)
  • Flower embellishment was kindly given to me by my friend Mandy, thanks Hun.
  • Charm, dots and sentiment from the stash.

I hope I was allowed to add a charm as this wasn’t in the sketch. The heart started out silver but I wanted a gold one so I coloured it with a krylon gold pen.

Here’s a close up of that charm and flower.

…and here’s Miss Anya….

Well I’m off to deliver some pressies today and maybe going for lunch YUM YUM.

Hi everyone.

Love this sketch by Mina over at Just Magnolia and this Tilda stamp is sooo adorable she’s called Christmas Party Tilda available at Stampeezee.

Card Recipe

  • Christmas Party Tilda.
  • Coloured with copics.
  • DP Winter Wonderland.
  • Martha Steward pine border punch and McGill pine branch
  • Petite Oval plain and scalloped nesties.
  • Roses from Hobbycraft.
  • Other flowers and ribbon from the stash.

I love this colour combination, it’s quite muted and those papers are to die for, they are already glittered. I’ve also spritzed the roses with pearl glimmer mist. The edges of the spotty paper has been distressed and the scalloped oval has been sanded.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

…and here’s the flowers, you can just see the glimmer mist and the glitter on the backing papers..

Be back tomorrow ….until then bye!!

Happy Saturday!!!!

Hope your having a good day, whatever you’ve been doing at this busy time of year.

Well I’ve managed to find the time to make this card and combine three challenges. Firstly Sketch Saturday #84 for the layout, Colour Create 34  for the colours, which are Pink, Burgundy & Ivory with the optional extra of roses, which oops I’ve forgotten, chosen by Dena and Penny Black wk80, which is Christmas charms and a Penny Black image.

Card Recipe

  • Penny Black stamp 1517E “Thinking of you”
  • Coloured with promarkers.
  • DP 6×6 speciality papers by Kars
  • Punches Martha Stewart snowflake border, McGill pine branch.
  • Sissix snowflake die.
  • Circle plain and scalloped nesties.
  • Sentiments “Merry Christmas” PB and “from the heart” SU.
  • Brad, pearls, charm and ribbon from the stash.

….Here’s a close up of that super cute little mouse (sorry it’s a little blurred)….

I really like this sketch and although these colours wouldn’t be my first choice for Christmas I think they work really well.

Thanks for dropping by, I know how busy you must be.

Whoo Whoo!!! What a fab day yesterday was, my eldest son David passed his driving test first time!!! So I thought I had better make him a card to say CONGRATULATIONS, how proud are we?

I used a template by Anna Marie Designs for the car.

He picked up his sister from school and then drove to MacDonalds yesterday, I don’t suppose I shall see much of my car now, Oh well that’s one less to taxi around, maybe I’ll get him to taxi me around for a change.

I’m off out for a meal with Debbie and the Stampeezee DT team tonight, may be I’ll have a glass of wine or two and then call my taxi (David). What do you think? LOL.

Good Morning!!!!

I felt like a change from Christmas cards so I’ve made this card with the brand new MISS ANYA LOVE stamps by The Greeting Farm available from Stampeezee. I’ve also managed to combine Two Challenges, the sketch at Mojo Monday and Anyone for Anya challenge which is BLING.

Card Recipe

  • Image Miss Anya Love from Stampeezee.
  • Coloured with promarkers and copics.
  • DP bloom and grow.
  • plain and scalloped circle nesties.

  • labels 5 nestie.
  • Sissix alphabet for the word “mum”.
