WHOOOP WHOOOOP !!!!!!

I’ve been picked by Maria¬†as a top 5 passionista, over at Passion for Promarkers, this week. I’m over the moon, it means soooo much to be picked out from so many entries ūüėĬ† “THANKS” Maria. ( scroll down to the next post to see the entry)

Well, after scraping myself off the ceiling, onto this weeks challenge over at Cards for Men, sponsored by the lovely Donna from Donna’s Den of crafts. The challenge is ” monochromatic”. I hope this card qualifies, I’ve chosen brown……

I’ve used the U Mount create~a~scene set called “The Train”. The elements in the foreground like, the station master, the clock, the suitcases, the lamp and the flower tub have been masked off before the train was stamped in the background. They have been stamped with Vintage Photo distress ink and then brushed over with a water brush to blend in the colour. Then I’ve mat & ¬†layered the picture up onto different shades of card and hey presto the finished card.

Here’s a closer look at the scene….

I’m off to Marlene’s now to have closer look at the mini album she’s been making, lucky or what!!!! Pop over to her blog and take a look here.

I received some gorgeous Hanglar¬†Stanglar¬†stamps yesterday, so naturally I had to play with them today and what better way than to enter a couple of challenges. So I’ve followed the sketch by the very talented Carole¬†over at Friday Sketchers, but I’ve rotated it to fit the image better,¬†sponsored by Simon Says Stamps and I ‘ve followed the theme over at Passion For Promarkers , chosen by Maria, which is “in the garden” sponsored by Joanna Sheen.

Card Recipe

  • DP My Mind’s Eye pretty please and bloom and grow 6×6.
  • Punches EK Success Daisy Chain and SU scalloped border.

Hi everyone !!!!¬† Hope you are ok as I ‘m feeling a bit under the weather, sore throat, achy¬†limbs ect…, hope¬† it’s just a short lived¬†thing as I’ve got to demo at Stampeezee on Saturday and I need my voice.

Well had a workshop yesterday and we made this card, I thought I’d share it with you. I need to thank Becca Feeken of¬† Amazing Paper Grace for the inspiration for this one “THANKS !!!!!!”

¬†Sorry the photo not the best but it’s the only one I’ve got on my camera and the card is at the shop.

Card recipe

  • Cream, green and pink card stock.
  • Just Rite ” Girl Time” set and ” Joyful Hearts” set.

All the ladies seemed to like doing this card, the threading of the ribbon was a bit of a challenge but everyone managed it really well, let’s hope it goes as well next week, when there’s another workshop using this technique.

Here’s a close up of the handbag…

I think I’m going to have an early night, with a couple of ibuprofen.
