WOW It’s Friday again already, where did that week go?

Good news I was picked over at Passion for promarkers¬†this week as one of the top five by Tracy ( thanks hunnie ūüėÄ I ‘m over the moon!!!!) for my mermaid card, Scroll down to the next post to see it.

I’ve been meaning to put this card up for days, just haven’t had the time.

Over at Passion for Promarkers this week ” Anything goes” as it’s their¬†first anniversary¬†“CONGRATULATIONS GUYS” so I think this qualifies & at Create 4 Fun¬†the theme is “Vintage”, which is great as I originally made this card for the Magnolia challenge only to realise I’m too late OOOPS!!!!

YAY !!!! It’s Friday, the weekend’s here and what a fabulous weekend it’s going to be. Barbecue weather I think :D. It’s 23 degrees here today.

Card recipe

  • Stamp, Little mermaid by The Greetings farm.
  • Coloured with promarkers.
  • DP, Basic Grey 6×6 lime rickey¬†and imaginesc.
  • Punches, Martha Stewart double dots (I think) , a branch, SU plain oval¬†and an old woodware border punch.
  • Spellbinders die “Fancy Tags”
  • Bubbles, pin beads, shell and gems from the stash.

Here’s a close up of that cute mermaid, I’ve added some crystal lacquer to her tail and top to give it a glossy, wet look.

I like to enter this card for 2 challenges:

Passion for Promarkers, which is “fantasy/ mythology” chosen by Tracy¬†and sponsored by Sugar Nellie, and also¬†Anyone for Anya, which is “Don’t be Square”, create something that not the usual 6×6 square shape, sponsored by Tracy from Dies to Die for. So I gone for a triangular easel card.

Here’s a side view, you can see how I’ve put my mermaid on a type of spring, made from 2 strips of card folded together.

Happy Wednesday !! What’s the weather like where you are? It’s been lovely here in the Midlands. It’s about the only thing that is good at the moment, I’ve been having computer problems, don’t know why but my laptop wouldn’t connect to the internet, it just stopped all of a sudden yesterday, so I’m using the kids¬† laptop.

I would like to enter my card into 3 challenges, Firstly, I’ve followed a fab sketch by the very talented Marlene, with the theme of recycling, over at The Sugar Bowl¬†( just loved it) ¬†ūüėÄ sponsored by Funky Kits. Secondly, over at Basic grey it’s ” punch it”, sponsored by Simon Says Stamps and last but not least A Spoon Full Of Sugar wants to see “Cute & Girly” chosen by Marley and sponsored by DRS Designs Rubber Stamps.

My recycled element is the flower, I have cut this out of an old shoe box.

Hi hope you’ve had a good weekend !!!

I found some spare time today to make a card. I went for an 8″x8″ size for a change.

This qualifies for 3 challenges. Passion for Promarkers, which is strawberries and cream, chosen by Sue and sponsored by¬†Letraset. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, sponsored by Bunny Zoe’s crafts and also over at A Spoon Full of Sugar the recipe is 3 designer Papers and 3 buttons, sponsored by Wags ‘n’ Wiskers.

Happy Monday everyone, sorry for the lack of blogging but things have been busy, busy, busy, what with the wedding last week, which was a huge success, my DH best man speech went really well, ūüėĬ†he didn’t need to be soooo¬†nervous after all !!!!

Well!!! onto the more serious business, crafting. I’ve made a card that fits in with four challenges this week WOW. Firstly, the sketch I’ve followed is by Sketch Saturday, sponsored by Simon Says Stamps, Passion for Promarkers theme is Gratitude, picked by the lovely Sarah & sponsored by Pink Gem Designs. Colour Create has a colour combination of Khaki, Aqua, brown & cream, with the optional extra of circles, sponsored by Michelle’s scrapbooking & more¬†and last but not least Anyone for Anya’s theme is ” lucky numbers” sponsored by Jacobi.
