I’m on a roll this week Yay….

Over at The Sugar bowl there’s a sketch by the very talented Marlene with the theme of “One for the boys”. So I’ve dug deep in a draw of stamps and found this sugar nellie stamp called Hamish in woolly jumper and I’m sooooooo ashamed to say that I’ve had this stamp for a very long time and he’s never seen ink, until now. I’d also like to enter this card in Cards for Men challenge as anything goes this week.

Card Recipe

  • Image Sugar Nellie ” Hamish in woolly jumper” coloured with promarkers.
  • Graphic 45 papers from Stampeezee.
  • SU star punch and oval punch.
  • Craftwork cards sentiment.
  • Buttons and twine from the stash.

Here’s a closer look at Hamish….

Thanks for stopping by 😀

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

I thought it was about time I started to enter a few challenges again, so I’ve made this card which hopefully qualifies for two, Passion for Promarkers, where the theme is pink and white or purple and white Christmas card , I chose the pink option and Whiff of Joy, where they would like to see distressing on your card. I’ve distressed the edges of the circle mats.

I’ve cut the shaped card on my cricut, a much neglected part of my equipment but I’ve just bought a Gypsy, which I love, so hopefully, I’ll be using it a lot more.

Card recipe

  • Card cut with my cricut and wild card cartridge.
  • Image Whiff of joy, coloured with promarkers.
  • Roses from wild orchid crafts.
  • Branch punch & Holly punch
  • Stickles.

Here’s some close ups….

…and those gorgeous roses….

I think the stickles show up a little better in this picture.

Hope you like it, let me know what you think, I love to read your comments 😀

Hi Everyone

Well I’d like to say “THANKYOU” !!!!!!!! to everyone who turned up to my demo day at Stampeezee on Saturday, it was a great success 😀 and I had a fab time, not quite sure where the six hours went.

Yesterday it was my friend Marlene’s birthday, a few of us met up at the craft show in Hinckley and had a great time 😀

I thought I’d show you the card that I made for her……

It’s a triple octogon easel card. I ‘ve used some of my Stampin Up stash …… the sentiment, butterflies and papers are all SU. The flower is a doo hickey magnolia flower die as are the leaves. I’ve added a couple of craftwork cards sentiments, a brad and some stickles here and there to finish it of.

Here’s a cople of close ups……..

…..I just looooove this flower die……

Well, must go and make dinner, hungry mouths to feed.
