Hi Everyone !!!!

It was my Darling Daughter’s birthday yesterday. This is a chocolate bouquet I made her using Lindor chocolates, her favourites.

I saw something similar to this while browsing the internet, so thought I’d have a go at making one myself.I used a stamped box for the base and filled it with gravel to make it stable, then using a cool melt glue gun I stuck some tissue paper and a doily to a kebab skewer and finally the chocolate in the centre.I poked the skewers into the gravel, added a little teddy and some ribbon and hey presto a chocolate bouquet (but I’m sure I can improve on this next time) Our daughter looooooooved it.

Thanks for stopping by, be back with the cards I made her later.

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!!

Well it’s the start of the summer holidays but where’s the sun!!!!! I suppose at least it’s not raining.

I’ve got this floral frame to show you today…….I saw one similar to this that Julie Hickey had made using the sweet meadows paper from Craftwork Cards and thought I’d have a go but I’ve used Stampin Up products instead.

The frame was from The Range £4.99. I’ve left it as I bought it but you could paint or stain it if you wished. The only other bits that weren’t Stampin Up was the gems and pearls in the centre of the flowers, they are from The Hobbyhouse, the peel off letters and stickles ( glitter glue) are from the stash.

Here’s a closer look at some of the flowers, I’ve used the build a blossom stamp set and the blossom petals punch to create these.

The bunting was made from the on a pedestal stamp set.

Hi Everyone…..

….not blogged for a while, I’ve been sunning myself in Lanzarote. (aren’t I the lucky one!!!!!) 😀

It was my friend Wendy’s birthday in June, this is the card I made her……

…theflower border was created using a Martha Stewart punch and the letters were cut with a Tim Holtz alphabet die.The cupcake on the front was made using a papermania template, it opens up to reveal a message inside….

…the message has been stamped onto acetate and glittered.

When the card is opened the cupcake in the middle twirls round, I saw this idea on splitcoast stampers, I used a die to cut the cupcake…..

…the sentiment on the right was stamped and cit out using a di~namics die and for the corners I used a punch. The verse on the left was computer generated.

Here’s a closer look at the cupcake in the middle, it’s a pity it’s not animated so you can see how it twirls round.
