Hi Bloggers.

As I told you a few weeks ago it was our Darling Daughter’s 18th birthday and finally I’ve got round to taking some pictures so here’s the card / scrapbook I made her. Be patient as there is quite a few piccies as there’s 5 pages.

This is A4 in size and this is what it looks like when it is open……

Here’s the front cover, I’ve used a punch by Stampin up for the flowerย  a swirl punch by EK Success and a spellbinders decorative oval to matt the “18” on which was die cut with a quikcutz set of dies called Abigail.
.

Page 1.

I’ve used the flower punch and the oval spellbinders die. The butterflies and flourishes are also from Spellbinders. The happy birthday is a sisslits die by sizzix and the 18 is a sizzix die too. The diamante centers to the flowers are from The Hobby House.

Page 2.

I’ve used a border punch by Martha Stewart and threaded some seam binding through it and again all the die are by Spellbinders.

Page 3.

Here I’ve added some stickles to the swirls on the pattered paper. The tulle roses were from the Hobby house and the frames have been cut with spellbinders dies, as were the sentiments.

Page 4.

I’ve used an EK Success border punch down the sides and that flower and swirl punch again, also the oval spellbinders dies for the frames. The handbags and shoes have been stamped onto pattered paper and cut out.

Page 5.

I’ve used a Martha Stewart deep edge punch down the sides. The zig zag patches are cut with a spellbinders die and the sentiments and dress forms were stamped with a set of stamps by creative expressions.

.

And here’s the boxalope I made using the extra large boxalope board by Crafters Companion and some spellbinders dies.

Hi Everyone….hope you had a great bank holiday despite the weather.

I went to Rachel’s on Sunday for our crop day, the challenge that Rachel set was to use peel offs and I’ve got boxes of them, that I’ve had for years. At first I thought ahrggggg but here’s what I made………

……..5 cards and some toppers.

For these two I used some black & white peel offs and card to make monochrome cards, in fact I seamed to have a black and white theme going on. I’ve added a few gems just to finish them off.

**********************************************

For the next two I’ve used some cog peel offs that I’ve stuck to acetate and cut them out.

********************************************

And for the 5th card I’ve made an easel card and used a shirt peel off.

*******************************************

Also these were the toppers I done. I’ve stuck my peel off to some window plastic that is like acetate on the front and is sticky when you peel off the backing paper. I’ve then put some gilding flakes all over the back. Love this technique, so simple but really effective, the hardest bit is putting the peel off down straight.

Overall, I was really pleased with what I managed to get done. Also Rachel put on a lovely lunch, so a very big thank you for a lovely day !!!!

Hi Everyone……

……..long time, no blogging but life just takes over sometimes !!!!

Our Darling Daughter passed her driving test last week,WHOOOO WHOOOO !!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ so that’s goodbye to my car ๐Ÿ˜ฆ but hey ho, we’re over the moon.

Here’s the card I made her….

….I’ve used my new grand circle dies by Spellbinders, I love these. I’ve cut the largest for the card base, out of turquoise card and folded it in half. Then I’ve cut the next size down in black card and the smallest in white card for the layers. The car is a sizzix die cut from stampin up patterned paper and I’ve added some eye lashes using my bitty blossoms spellbinders die to create them, I think they’re fab. The ” CONGRATULATIONS U PASSED” are glittered alphabet peel offs.

Here’s a closer look at that car.
