Hi Bloggers

I’ve got a baby book card today.

DSC03906

I’ve used the Glitter Girls Book a Trix board to make this card, I think this is the most versatile board they made. I’ve cut some ovals with my nesties for matting and layering.

DSC03907

The teddy bear has been stamped and coloured with my promarkers, then I cut it out and layered it with sticky fixers to the ovals.

Challenges Entered

I love promarkers – four legged friends ( hope this counts)

Allsorts – Animals

Hi Bloggers

I’ve got an 8×8 card I made for my son’s, girlfriend’s mum to show you today.

DSC03900

I’ve used the expandable spellbinders butterfly magic die to cut the main focal point out of white card, this has been matted onto red spotty patterned paper and then layered onto black card. Then I cut a second panel and just cut out the butterfly and flower so I could decoupage them. I also sprayed them with glitter but it doesn’t show up in the piccie and I added a few gems. The words were computer generated and matted onto black card.

I’ve added a pretty ribbon bow, some pins and a gorgeous gem in the centre.

I hope she likes it !!!!

Hi Everyone.

My Sister-in-law asked me to make a card for her SIL 60th birthday. I decided to make an 8×8 card.

DSC03878I’ve die cut the black corners using a die from the spellbinders botanical swirls and accents set. Then I’ve cut the largest square in the adorning squares set of spellbinders from burgundy card and then embossed the next die down in the same set in the middle. Also from the same set I’ve cut the middle die from cream card and layered this in the middle, cut a “60” from gold card and placed this in the centre.

DSC03880

The flowers have been cut with the bitty blossoms set and I’ve added a diamante to the centres.

DSC03878

I’ve also added an organza bow to the top left , with a diamante crystal to finish it off.

Hi everyone

Sorry for the lack of posts. I’m having computer problems at the moment, I think it’s dying very slowly . For some reason the USB ports aren’t recognising my printer or camera and it keeps locking up.So I’ve had to wait ’till I could use my Darling Daughter’s laptop.

Anyway here’s a card I made for my Daughter to give to her Friend for her birthday.

DSC03875

It’s an 8×8 card base. I’ve used an A4 embossing folder for the background and I’ve inked lightly around the edge to distress it slightly. I’ve die cut a spellbinders floral burst element from pink double sided patterned paper and added this to the top right corner and added a crystal gem to the centre. I’ve tied some dusty pink organza ribbon to the left hand side and made up two pins with pearl and crystal beads.

The metal embellishment was from my stash that I purchased at one of the many craft shows, to which I’ve added a crystal to the centre.

The sentiment is from a Woodware set of stamps, this has been stamped and then layered and stuck in the bottom right corner with sticky fixers.

Challenges Entered

Papertake Weekly – Anything goes

Stampin for the Weekend – Something Metal

Hopefully be back soon with another post.
