Hi Everyone.

Had a lovely weekend celebrating our Daughter Nicole’s and Niece’s Louise’s birthdays.

Look what Nicole had for her birthday, she’s soooooo cute. Been thinking of getting a pet for a while now. She’s a Pomeranian.

and here’s the card I made her.

I’ve used one of the die cut cards by creative crafting world added some red and black layers. The teacup has been stamped in black ink, this is from a Stampin Up set of stamps. I took a piccie of the puppy, printed it and cut it out. I’ve also added some ribbon, roses, feathers, diamante swirls and a die cut greeting.

Challenges entered

ABC – Roses are red.

One stop craft challenge  – Flowers and ribbon

Stampin for the weekend – Sparkle and bling

Hi Everyone.

Here’s another 3d project I made. It’s a slice form fish bowl.

The bowl was again cut on the silhouette. The fish was found on the net and the colourful branches were punched.

I also made a box for it…

Hi Everyone.

Just back from a glorious week in Wales. Before I went away a friend asked me if I could make a penguin cake / card for her Daughters 16th birthday. At first I was going to do a round version using the Arty Farty cake template but then I came across a file for the silhouette for a three tier  topsy turvy cake which was very similar to the birthday cake she was having. So here’s my creation.

I followed the colour scheme of her birthday cake. The bottom two tiers are boxes, so you can take them apart and put things in them. The base was cut with a grand spellbinders die. I found some penguins and an igloo on the net, which I printed and cut out. I also added some polar white flower soft for the snow and some little white pom poms for snowballs. I also punched some snowflakes from glitter card to put around the sides and added a “16” with peel offs.

I used the template for a presentation box from the Arty Farty cake design.

I’ve put acetate in all the windows and peel offs around the edges. Added an organza ribbon bow and a tag to match.

Hi everyone.

A 70th birthday card today, this lady owns a black poodle that she’s always grooming.

I’ve used one of the die cut card blanks by creative crafting world, which I’ve put through the printer to print the background paw prints. I’ve used some spellbinders nesties to mat and layer the black poodle. I’ve added some grooming tools, a sentiment, an organza bow and pearls to finish it off.

I’ve also added the age using peel offs.

Morning everyone.

Well from a new arrival to a sad loss. My next door neighbour’s Mum passed away last week, so I made a sympathy card, the last type of card I ever want to make but sometimes you just want to say you care.

For the base card I’ve used a multi function die cut blank called spring flowers by Katy Sue Designs. I’ve stamped a flower and sentiment, which is a Stampin’ Up set called love & sympathy, onto a piece of white card and layered it onto gold mirri card. I’ve added a butterfly punched out of vellum and added a bow and some pearls to finish it off.

I’m off to enjoy the lovely weather were having today.

Morning Bloggers.

My neighbour’s had a new arrival in June baby Harry. I decided to make them one of these lovely keepsake prams.

DSC04093I’ve used a Serendipity pram template, by Hasslecastle Creations see here. To create the basic pram shape. I’ve cut the doily sides out on my silhouette portrait, this was a free gate fold card cutting file I found here, which I’ve cut up to create the sides.

The wheels were from Hasslecastle Creations, which I’ve topped onto some scalloped circles, cut with my spellbinders dies. I’ve added some gorgeous rhinestone spacers that I got from The Hobby house, to the hood, handle and wheels.

I’ve used beads for the handle, these have been threaded onto a kebab skewer. The blanket has been cut on the silhouette portrait and the sentiment is computer generated then matt and layered onto oval nesties. I’ve also added a little fabric teddy to the hood.

DSC04091I made a lovely presentation box from the same template for the pram to go in, sorry when I took the photo I cut off the corners, but you can just see that I’ve added some silver peel offs around the acetate windows and punched a border to go around the lid. There is also a ribbon threaded through the top of the box to carry it.

I’ve also added a tag with the baby’s initial on it, which has been stamped in blue with a stampin up stamp set.

CONGRATULATIONS !! Jess, Steve and Jack on your New arrival.
