Hi Everyone.

Here’s the card I made for my friend Kay’s birthday, she likes fairies.

DSC04272This is 8×8 in size.I’ve used a backing paper from nitwits for the background and die cut some black corners.

DSC04268I’ve added some double sided adhesive to a piece of black card and then laid a fairy stencil over the top, but before I placed the stencil on I put some perfect medium on the back, hoping this would stop it sticking too much. Then I added gilding flake to the fairy. All was going great, then I tried to peel the stencil away, I managed it but it ended up in two pieces, oh dear 😦 I’ll have to investigate where I went wrong. Then I sprinkled some ice crystals on the rest of the background.

DSC04271I’ve added a beautiful black organza bow, embellishment and a sentiment to finish off.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAY Hope you’re having a great day !!!! Well I’m off to investigate what went wrong with my fairy.

Hi Everyone.

Here’s the 3rd wedding card.

DSC04212This 8×8 in size. I’ve embossed some pink card with the cascading hearts A4 folder by Sue Wilson. I’ve die cut a silver and white panel with the spellbinders die called detailed scallops.

DSC04214I’ve stamped and heat embossed, in pink, a wedding cake stamp and sentiment by stampin up. I’ve then die cit the sentiment with a die from the same set, through which I’ve threaded a ribbon.

DSC04215To finish off I’ve added an organza ribbon and bow and put a rhinestone and pearl embellishment in the centre.

I Know these cards were well received 😀

I find it a challenge to make more than one card for the same couple for the same occasion and in the same colours.

Hi everyone.

Back as promised with the 2nd of 3 wedding cards.

DSC04216I’ve used a die cut base card by creative crafting world. I’ve stamped and heat embossed, in silver, the lacy heart singles stamp by creative expressions and added some die cut wedding rings. This has been layered onto a spellbinders die called locking loops. I’ve also added a bow and a sentiment to the front. Some punched silver strips have been added to the sides and I’ve die cut six loop shapes from the locking loops die set and woven white satin ribbon through them and then added 3 to each side panel. I’ve also added a pink bow to each of these.

Be back with the 3rd card tomorrow.

Hi Everyone.

Here’s another wedding card. I made 3 for the same couple, this is the first. The theme was pink, white and silver.

DSC04207 Firstly I embossed a piece of pink A4 card with an A4 embossing folder and folded it in half lengthways. Then I die cut the bride and groom using a quick cutz die. I cut the bride twice and then embossed the dress part and veil of the die cut shape. I then added some pearls and a sentiment to finish it off.

I’ll be back tomorrow with the second card of three, so watch this space.
