Hi Everyone.

Well as promised here’s a piccie of the wedding card I made for my friends Mandy & Doug.

DSC04401This is 8×8 in size. The heart is a spellbinders die and the lattice background is a tonic die. The sentiment is a stamp by lili of the valley, which has been stamped and embossed, then matted. I’ve added some pearls and a bow.

Hi Everyone.

Well last week was a very up and down week.

Sadly my VERY good friend Shirley passed away and her funeral was on Wednesday. I still can’t believe that I won’t see or talk to her again 😦 I miss her loads.

Then on Saturday my special friends Mandy & Doug renewed their wedding vows. It was a fabulous day !!!! despite the weather. I’ll be back with a piccie of the card I made them soon. As I was half way to the venue and realised I’d left the card and pressie on the dining room table “oooooh nooooo” couldn’t go back for it or we would have been late for the ceremony but hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow.

Also it was my nephew Tom’s 21st birthday and my great-nephew Dylan’s 4th birthday. So here’s some of the cards I made.

Firstly, the 21st cards…… The one I made for my mum…..

….and the one for my brother……

Hi Everyone.

I have a bendy card for you today.

downloaded 8th may 2014 346I’ve found instructions for this on a blog called A path of paper here. There is also files on the silhouette for this type of card. I cut mine from some double sided paper, punched the edges and the corners with a Martha Stewart punch, then inked all the edges.

downloaded 8th may 2014 348The Flower has been die cut and edged with distress ink. I’ve also added a pearl to the centre.

downloaded 8th may 2014 350The butterfly has been stamped and cut out. This is a stamp by indigo blue.

downloaded 8th may 2014 347I’ve stamped Sue Wilson’s bow stamp onto patterned paper and cut it out. Then assembled it and added a pearl.

downloaded 8th may 2014 349The friend sentiment has also been stamped onto patterned paper and layered. I’ve also added a few more pearls to the punched borders.

Hi Everyone.

My very good friend Kay and her husband John became grandparents for the first time, to a baby boy called Kian, so here’s the card I made them.

downloaded 8th may 2014 362This card is 8×8 in size. I’ve used some checked paper from one of the 8×8 paper pads by Lili of the Valley. The topper was created in Serif craft artist, which I printed, cut down and punched the corners of with a very old decorative corner punch. I’ve also decoupaged the fizzy moon teddy and the bow with the hearts dangling from it and I’ve added a bow and some gems.

Kay & John, I know he’ll be spoilt rotten.

Hi bloggers.

Here’s a vintage wedding car I made last week.

downloaded 8th may 2014 367

I’ve used a template by Arty Farty called Colin car. I’ve cut it from pearlised card.

downloaded 8th may 2014 366

I’ve added some ribbon and roses to make it more like a weeding car.

Here it is in its box, this template also comes with the car.

downloaded 8th may 2014 364

Just something a little bit different.

Hugs for now.
