Category Archives: Die Cut Cards

Hi everyone.

Not much blogging going on this year, so here’s some things I’ve made.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve used an embossing folder to create the feature panel and added some gilding wax to highlight areas. The die cut on the side has also been waxed.

This is A5 in size. The characters have also been decoupaged but it doesn’t show too well in this picture.

This is A6 in size. The elements have been die cut from black card and pebeo waxes have been added to give them a metallic finish.

This is 8×8 in size. Most of this has been cut on my silhouette portrait. The name was done with an embossing folder then die cut.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve cased this card from pintrest. I’ve used a Lili of the Valley image and embossed the background.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve used my latest heartfelt creations sunrise lily collection for this one and one of their edge dies. I just love their products.

I’d like to thank all of you for stopping by even though there’s been nothing new for a while, it’s very much appreciated 😀

That’s all for now.

Hi bloggers.

I found pictures of some cards and things I made a while ago.

This one was for a friend, whose friend was 50

DSC04649Most of this card has been die cut.

The champagne flutes are a Marianne die and the label, I think, is a Sue Wilson Die.

The greeting around the neck has been printed on my laser printer, foiled and die cut.

Thanks for stopping by, check back soon as I’ve got a book I folded for my Auntie’s birthday that I’ve not shared yet.

Hi Everyone.

I was asked by a friend of a friend to make a card for her daughter’s 18th, The brief was zebra print, black, white, lime green and silver. Her daughter also liked Pandora and Michael Kors………so this is what I came up with.DSC04638This is A4 in size. I’ve used some zebra print paper in the background, which has been matted onto lime green. The champagne bottle has been cut using a Arty Farty template. I’ve added a Pandora style bead around the neck of the bottle on a ribbon. The sentiment has been computer generated, die cut and layered.

I’ve cut the label with some spellbinders dies, added a die cut 18 and some gems.

DSC04637I’ve die cut some champagne flutes and added some stirrers, which have been foiled.

I also made a boxalope for the card to go in. I’ve die cut some corners and a label using Sue Wilson dies and the name has been printed and foiled in silver.

I think this fitted the brief.

Hugs for now

Hi Everyone

I have a Golden Wedding card to share today.DSC04623This is 8×8 in size and cased from the very talented Sue Wilson. I’ve embossed the background with the braided vines folder from Creative Expressions, which has been layered onto mirri gold. I’ve cut the ursa die from the gemini collection and placed it at the bottom. The centre squares have been cut with the times square die from the New York collection and the sentiment has been cut with the pierced flags.

DSC04624The flower has been cut with the camellia dies and I’ve added some petite vinery behind it. Then a few gems have been added to the corners and the centre of the flower.

Hi Everyone.

Here’s a card I made for my Sister-in-law’s birthday.DSC04607I’ve used a Tonic header die to create the top edge of the card and a border die, that I won in a raffle, down the edge of the rose topper.

DSC04608The rose has been stamped with black memento ink and coloured using ONE chameleon pen. I love how this turned out and the monochrome finish. I’ve die cut, matt and layered it and added some pearls.

I would like to enter this card into this week’s challenge over at Papertake Weekly, where the theme is anything goes with the optional extra of using no pattered paper.

Thanks for stopping by and all your lovely comments, they are very much appreciated 😀

Hi Everyone.

It’s been a busy few weeks, so sorry for the lack of blogging.

There’s been quite a few birthdays, including our darling daughter’s. So here’s the cards I made her.

Firstly this one was created on my silhouette portrait.

I typed the word Daughter, created an offset and welded it together. then I duplicated this, flipped it then welded the 2 sections together to form the black base card.

Then I used the original letters and cut them out of gold card. Then I created an inset of the letters and cut them in red.

I added some punched flowers and some gems to finish it off.

Secondly here’s the one I made for our son’s to give her, she loves to bake so thought this was quite fitting.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve used a tonic die to cut the diamond base from black card and white glittered card.

The cake was cut using a cottage cutz die from black, white and silver card and pieced together.

The mixer and the utensils have been cut with Joy craft dies, which I have cut into and pieced together.

I’ve added a stamped lili of the valley circular sentiment, a bow and some gems.

Be back soon with some cards I’ve made for friends birthdays.

Hi everyone.

I’ve got a circle stepper card for you today.

The card base is made from a decorate circle grand spellbinders die, which has been scored and cut to form a stepper card.

The topper is a wee stamps design from the hobby house.

The flowers are made from a die called gardenia by Cherry Lyn designs, it cuts out all the layers in one go and the leaves are a die by Marianne designs. The happy birthday has been stamped with a stamp from a set by visible image and the sentiment is from a makey bakey bouquet stamp set by Crafter’s Companion.

Hugs for now.

Hi everyone.

Back as promised with the 2nd of 3 wedding cards.

DSC04216I’ve used a die cut base card by creative crafting world. I’ve stamped and heat embossed, in silver, the lacy heart singles stamp by creative expressions and added some die cut wedding rings. This has been layered onto a spellbinders die called locking loops. I’ve also added a bow and a sentiment to the front. Some punched silver strips have been added to the sides and I’ve die cut six loop shapes from the locking loops die set and woven white satin ribbon through them and then added 3 to each side panel. I’ve also added a pink bow to each of these.

Be back with the 3rd card tomorrow.

Hi Everyone.

I’ve made a few wedding cards over the last month, here’s the first.

DSC04210This 8×8 in size, my favourite card size at the moment. I’ve embossed a piece of white card with one of Sue Wilsons embossing folders and matted this onto a piece of purple card. Down the left hand side I’ve added some purple organza ribbon, a bow and a round crystal embellishment.

For the main focal image I’ve die cut a background, some champagne glasses and some wedding rings. I’ve also added the words which have been printed on the computer then matted up.I think it makes the card very personal.

Be back soon with some more wedding creations.

Happy Sunday everyone.

I’ve got a get well card today.

This is one of the new elegant lacy die cut cards from creative crafting world. Love these cards as most of the work is done for you. I’ve just added a 3d topper and borders from hunkydory, some ribbon and a die cut sentiment. So simple but really effective.

Here’s wishing my friend a speedy recovery with all our love !!!!

Hugs for now
