Hi everyone.

Not much blogging going on this year, so here’s some things I’ve made.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve used an embossing folder to create the feature panel and added some gilding wax to highlight areas. The die cut on the side has also been waxed.

This is A5 in size. The characters have also been decoupaged but it doesn’t show too well in this picture.

This is A6 in size. The elements have been die cut from black card and pebeo waxes have been added to give them a metallic finish.

This is 8×8 in size. Most of this has been cut on my silhouette portrait. The name was done with an embossing folder then die cut.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve cased this card from pintrest. I’ve used a Lili of the Valley image and embossed the background.

This is 8×8 in size. I’ve used my latest heartfelt creations sunrise lily collection for this one and one of their edge dies. I just love their products.

I’d like to thank all of you for stopping by even though there’s been nothing new for a while, it’s very much appreciated 😀

That’s all for now.

Hi Everyone

A New home card today. I’ve had this house die for ages and this is the first time I’ve used it but I will be using it a lot more in the future.

DSC04205An 8×8 card base again, I like this size of card seem to have made quite a few lately. I’ve cut some shaped layers using my xxl go create dies. The bottom layer is a Nit Wits Paper and the top layer is white card that has been inked through the die.

DSC04206The house has been cut 3 times using a Marianne Design die, I’ve decoupaged this to give depth. I’ve also inked it through the die before I removed it. I’ve punched some tiny pink flowers, added some pink pearl cosmic shimmer glue to the centres and die cut some leaves and added them to the window ledges to look like flower boxes. The new home circular sentiment is by Lili of the Valley.

Love this card turned out.:D

Hi today is my Great Nephew Dylan’s 2nd birthday. Here’s the card I’ve made him, it’s another easel card…

The card base was made from a piece of A3 card. I cheated a bit with the images as they are toppers from Lili of the Valley which are already coloured.

The number 2 was made using a Wendy Stenton number template, which I’ve drawn round onto green card and cut out and then I’ve layered this onto black card and cut it out again with a border ( not very straight LOL but I’m sure he won’t mind. Maybe I should have got my cricut out). I’ve also added some peel offs around the edges. This is held up with two button stoppers.

Dylan’s name has been cut with a sissix alphabet and again layered on to black and cut round. Maybe I should have cut out the center of the d but I would probably made a mess of it so decided to leave it ( Chicken). The D & N also hold up the square sections.

Well going to enjoy this glorious weather we’re at the moment, lets hope it lasts the rest of the week and through the weekend.

Good Morning.

I have some baby projects to show you over the next few days.

This card was quite a quick one to make.

The card base and layers have been cut with a Cherry Lynn die called mini pearl french flair mega doily. The biggest shape I’ve folded in half to make the base. The little teddy in the weighing scale is by Lili of the Valley and it’s a bit of a cheat as this was one of their topper sheets but I do have the rubber stamp version too.. I’ve added some stickles glitter glue and a bow and how quick is that.

Also I didn’t have much time as I needed to make 3 projects in 2 days and one of them was a 3d pram in a box which I’ll be back to show you tomorrow.

Hi Everyone.

Been busy, busy, busy today !!!!!! Packed our youngest off to France on a school trip yesterday, missing him loads !!!!! So been crafting to fill the time, made two birthday cards, which I’ll show you later when the birthday’s are here and this Easter card. It’s a triple easel card and  I found the inspiration for this card while blog hopping see here.

I’ve used XXL flower dies by Go Create to create the base and mats for my card. The spotty papers are stampin up and the floral glitter paper is first editions by trimcraft. The butterflies and daisies have been punched using Martha Stewart and woodware punches.

The image and circular sentiment are from  Lili of the Valley, coloured with promarkers, then die cut and inked whilst still in the die.

Here’s a side view, maybe you can see how this works from this angle…….

……and it does lie flat for posting.

Hi Everyone.

I made this card for a friends birthday, it’s a double twisted easel card.

The images are from Lili of the Valley, coloured with my copics. The designer papers are from Stampin up, the one on the bottom of the card is flocked, it’s absolutely gorgeous !!!!!!!!. The two cute little girls are cut out using spellbinders nesties as is the scalloped matt and the tag that the sentiment is mounted on. The sentiment is from a woodware set of stamps. There is also a couple of feathers tucked behind the ovals but they don’t show up very well in this piccie. 😦

Here’s a closer look at one of those cute little girls, as you can see I’ve added a few pearls for her necklace and bracelet.

There is also some shimmer mist sprayed over the images , it shows up a little on this piccie and you can just see one of the feathers in the top left corner.

I think this fits in with a few challenges this week

Hi Everyone !!!!  Happy Halloween.

Just back from 2 fabulous weeks in sunny Florida, the highlight of the holiday was swimming with dolphins, a magical experience!!!!! 😀 LUCKY ME!!!!!!

Over at PFP this week the challenge is ” for a child “. I made this card for a friend sometime ago, as you can tell by the date, but have never posted it as yet, so this is the perfect time to do so.

It’s a side step card….simple to make and very effective.

The stamped image is by Lili of the Valley, soooooo cute, coloured with promarkers and matt and layered using spellbinders nesties. The border at the bottom was punched using a Martha Stewart punch , with a few gems added for decoration. The sentiment is computer generated, I love making personalised cards.

Here’s a side view, you can see the step better in this piccie.

Have a great day whatever you might be doing 😀

I’m getting ready for the Trick or Treaters !!!

Hi Everyone.

I know I’ve been a bad blogger but what with having no phone and internet problems for the last 3 weeks, with still no sign of a resolution, blogging is a bit of a problem. But hey ho let’s hope it gets sorted sooooon.

Anyway, it was my friend Mandy’s birthday this week, this is the card I made for her…..

I’ve used a BCE template called ” circle step card” to make the base card ( I think this gives the card lots of dimension) and then cut a doily and 2 motifs from the spellbinders ” Fleur de lis motifs” set of dies and a border using the “Fleur de lis accents” set.

The girlie image is a stamp by Lili of the Valley called ” New Hat”, isn’t she a sweetie? She’s mostly coloured in with different shades of grey promarkers. I’ve also added a few pearls to finish it off.

I’d like to enter this into 3 challenges;

Lili of the Valley ~ “Happy Birthday”

ABC ~ S is for Sugar & Spice.

Papertake Weekly ~ Truly Dimensional.

Thanks for stopping by 😀
