Happy Monday everyone.

Here’s a couple of Christmas cards today.

I bought these stamps from Cardio on my recent visit to the hobbycrafts show and I’ve cased these cards from them, thank you for the inspiration.

DSC04914I’ve stamped starting with the sentiment and then the foliage in brown and green ink onto white card. Then I’ve inked around the edges in green and added some black pen lines around the border. Then I’ve covered the whole piece with double-sided adhesive sheet and sprinkled diamond sprinkles over the surface to give it that sparkle. Then I’ve matt and layered the piece onto brown and kraft cardstock and added some red pva sparkle berries.

For this one I’ve masked off a section along the middle of the white card square. I’ve stamped the foliage and pine cones along the edges of the mask. Then I’ve applied green ink along the edges of the mask. The mask has then been removed and then I’ve stamped the sentiment, the fir cone and holly. This has then been matt and layered to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone.

Back as promised with the 2nd of 3 wedding cards.

DSC04216I’ve used a die cut base card by creative crafting world. I’ve stamped and heat embossed, in silver, the lacy heart singles stamp by creative expressions and added some die cut wedding rings. This has been layered onto a spellbinders die called locking loops. I’ve also added a bow and a sentiment to the front. Some punched silver strips have been added to the sides and I’ve die cut six loop shapes from the locking loops die set and woven white satin ribbon through them and then added 3 to each side panel. I’ve also added a pink bow to each of these.

Be back with the 3rd card tomorrow.

Hi Everyone.

I’ve got a christening card for you today.

DSC04177This 8×8 in size. I’ve added a blue matt to the card base and computer generated the words.

DSC04175The little angel has been stamped with grey ink and coloured with spectrum noirs. I’ve added some stickles glitter glue to his halo and wings and then die cut him with a spellbinders die. I’ve also inked inside the die with blue ink before I removed it.

DSC04176The cross is also a spellbinders die which I’ve inked before it was removed from the die.

Have a great bank holiday weekend ūüėÄ

Morning Everyone.

I’ve used another 8×8 die cut card from cupcake crafting today. I will definitely getting some more of these when I go to the NEC this month.

I’ve distress the whole card with ink and added some polka dot card from Anna-marie designs, this card is really good quality. The shoes have been stamped and then cut out. I’ve punched out a circle and put a “40” peel off in the corner and then added some paper roses, leaves, a sentiment, ribbon and bow and some gold bling.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Sunday!!!

Well half term is nearly over, back to normal tomorrow, it’s been really nice having the kids at home and not having to rush about in the mornings.

I thought I’d show you some acetate cards I’ve made, ready for a workshop at Stampeezee in March.

Dream Big

I have attached an acetate sleeve, cut with an XL sissix¬†die, to a blank black base card. The acetate has then been stamped with a little doodle stamp in white staz¬†on ink. The sentiment is a justrite¬†stamp, just stamped in black ink and cut out using a scalloped round nestie. The square background is another justrite¬†stamp set, which has been stamped with a versamark pad and then heat embossed with a detail white powder. I ‘ve then added a strip of white card, a bow and a couple of gems and hey presto!!!!

I’m sorry the card doesn’t¬†show up very well in the piccie, but it was created in the same way as the previous card by cutting the actual card out with an XL sissix die. It was then put through the big shot in a cutllebug¬†embossing folder, to create an embossed background ( this doesn’t¬†show up very well either ). I’ve then¬†embossed a piece of silver card with a cuttlebug¬†die and mat and layered it onto white and black squares, cut using nesties. A punched border has been added to the top of the card and then¬†added¬†a ribbon and some gems. There is also a square panel inside the card where you can write your message.

…and finally….

For this one I’ve sponged different coloured inks onto a blank white square base card, onto this I’ve stamped the sentiment and little swirls at the top of the card in black staz¬†on ink. Then on the acetate cover I’ve stamped the large swirl in the bottom left corner and the fairy in black staz on ink. I’ve added a ribbon and some pearls to finish it off.

Well I hope you like these!!!

¬†I’m off to the trade show at the NEC tomorrow, be nice to see what’s new in the crafting world and maybe get some inspiration. There will be a few famous crafting faces there including Tim Holtz , I love watching him work, may be I’ll get a photo.

Hi everyone. Are you fed up with this freezing weather yet? I am roll on the lighter nights and warmer weather!!

It was my hubbie’s¬†birthday yesterday (Sunday) and as usual I left his card to the last-minute, well I was planning to spend Saturday making it but my youngest, Adam, came home from school on Friday not feeling too well. So¬†after a bad nights sleep and between hugs and general sympathy¬†all day¬†Saturday there wasn’t much time for crafting, therefore it was a quick card.

The image is a funstamps¬†stamp, I’ve stamped it twice and 3d¬†the collar, tie, cuffs and shirt pocket. The DP were some old ones from the stash and the stars and tabs are SU punches. The sentiments are Craftwork cards. I followed the same sketch as in the previous post and made the card 8×8 in size. I think monochrome black and white always looks classy.

Here’s a close up of that shirt

¬†Anyway Adam is much better¬†today and went to school and hubbie¬†at least got a hand-made card. I’m off to bed now be back tomorrow.

Good Evening!!! Yay it’s Friday, another weekend to look forward to.

The challenge over at Secret crafters this week is to make an easel card, I ‘ve made this one for a friend, I love doing these cards. They’re something just a little bit different and really easy.

Here’s a side view

The BP on this card are from the¬†Papermania big one 12 x12 pad, the shoe stamps are Hreo Arts High Heels and the sentiment is from a¬†Fairy doodles set, stuck onto a¬†fancy tags¬†nestie. I’ve also used plain and scalloped circle nesties and embossed the shoes with sparkly black powder( this dosn’t show in the piccie)

Thanks for the challenge.
